ALL KINDS OF PRAYERS Part 6

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
Eph.6:18
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire,
and it shall be done for you.” John 15:7
The prayer of submission to the will of God is another kind of prayer
that has its own rules. “He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed,
saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless,
not as I will, but as You will.” Again, a second time, He went away and prayed,
saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it,
You will be done.” So He left them, went away again, and prayed the third time,
saying the same words.” Matt.26:39,42,44 This is the prayer you pray when the
will of God on a particular issue is not known to you and not specifically
revealed in the word of God. In this case, you are seeking to know His will on
that matter. One of the rules guiding this kind of prayer is that you must be
willing and ready to obey the will of God He reveals to you on that particular
issue no matter what that will is. It will not work when you are not willing and
ready to do some things that God may tell you to do. God looks at the heart
and cannot be deceived. If you are choosy about things you are willing
and ready to obey God He cannot trust you with anything. The second rule
guiding this kind of prayer is that you may need to pray the same prayer
several times until His will is revealed to you. When His will is revealed to you
there is a need for you to pray and find out from Him when and how to do what
He tells you to do.
