The Best Is In Jesus

“When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and
did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water
knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. And he said to him,
“Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have
well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!” John 2:9-
10
Man’s best is no match for what Jesus offers you. The bridegroom followed
the custom of the land and brought out his best wine for the wedding party.
When the wine he provided finished, Jesus was requested to help meet the
need for more wine. Jesus met this need by miraculously turning water into
wine. This wine however, was far better than the bridegroom’s best.
The devil specializes in deception. He deceives people into believing that they
are better off without Christ. He tries to deceive believers into thinking that
the world offers something better than what they have in Christ. Sin is
deceitful. Do not fall for it. “You must warn each other every day, while it is still
“today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God.
For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first
believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.” Heb.3:13-14 (NLT)

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
God has not blessed any believer more than the other. The difference is some believers know
what belongs to them in Christ and how to take advantage of them more than
others……Kenneth E. Hagin.
