“Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman,” says the LORD. “Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited”. Isaiah 54:1-3
What is stored in your heart comes out of your mouth and ultimately manifests in your life. “A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart”. Luke 6:45 (NLT). What you continually say (especially if done in faith) ultimately manifest in your life. “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says”. Mark 11:23. “Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the LORD, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you:” Numbers 14:28
You enlarge your thinking by guarding the thoughts that your mind dwells on. “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life”. Proverbs 4:23 (NLT). There are many thoughts that flash through our minds daily but we understand from Philippians 4:8 that we have the power to choose what thoughts to dwell on and which one not to dwell on. Satan is the enemy of our success in receiving the promises and plans of God for our lives. One of his potent weapons is that of suggestion through thoughts that are not in line with the word of God. If you are going to enlarge your capacity to receive from God you must learn to use the weapons of your warfare to cast out such negative thoughts. “We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments”. 2Cor.10:4
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
“He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform”. Romans 4:20-21
