CREATED FOR HIS PLEASURE. Part 3

“And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to
him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend.” James 2:23 NIV

Faith pleases God. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to
God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Heb.11:6.
Two cannot work together unless they agree. God is a faith God. He created every thing
by faith. “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so
that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” A father that
is very successful is pleased when his children are following in his foot steps. The
reverse is also true. God is therefore pleased when we follow in His foot step of faith.
How will you feel if you spend a lot of money, time and energy to prepare a delicious
meal for some invited guests and they either do not show up or refuses to eat the meal
you have invested so much to make ready for them. will not be pleased. Through the
death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, God has prepared for us blessings that
are too good to be true. These blessings are called graces. The blessings or grace of
God are accessed through faith. “Through whom also we have access by faith into this
grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:2. Without
faith, the grace of God cannot be appropriated and this displeases God.
“And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: “The kingdom of
heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, and sent out his
servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come.
Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared
my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the
wedding.”’ But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to
his business. And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them.
But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed
those murderers, and burned up their city. Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is
ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.” Matt.22:1-8.
Jesus has paid for every thing you need in life. Stretch out the hand of faith and receive
it for this pleases the Father. On several occasions Jesus rebuked His disciples for their
unbelief. God told Moses that the unbelief of the Children of Israel was a provocation to
Him (Numbers 14:11). In another place God called unbelief evil.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
One who is easily disturbed, one who is unseated in life will find new strength and
steadiness that will make him a blessing to the world by spending a little time with the
rock of our strength.
