THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD Part 12

“The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need.” Psalm 23:1(NLT)

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present

your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,

that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Rom.12:1-2

Other less common ways God can guide his children occasionally include the following:

i. Through angelic beings: “But after long abstinence from food, then Paul stood in

the midst of them and said, “Men, you should have listened to me, and not

have sailed from Crete and incurred this disaster and loss. And now I urge you

to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.

For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and

whom I serve, saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before

Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’ Therefore,

take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me.” Acts

27:21-25. “Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals”;

and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me.” Acts

12:8. “Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward

the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is

desert. So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great

authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her

treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship, was returning. And sitting in

his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet.” Acts 8:26-28.
